Theoretical model for ultracold molecule formation via adaptive feedback control
نویسندگان
چکیده
We theoretically investigate pump-dump photoassociation of ultracold molecules with amplitudeand phase-modulated femtosecond laser pulses. For this purpose a perturbative model for the light-matter interaction is developed and combined with a genetic algorithm for adaptive feedback control of the laser pulse shapes. The model is applied to the formation of Rb2 molecules in a magneto-optical trap. We find that optimized pulse shapes may maximize the formation of ground state molecules in a specific vibrational state at a pumpdump delay time for which unshaped pulses lead to a minimum of the formation rate. Compared to the maximum formation rate obtained for unshaped pulses at the optimum pump-dump delay, the optimized pulses lead to a significant improvement of about 40% for the target level population. Since our model yields the spectral amplitudes and phases of the optimized pulses, the results are directly applicable in pulse shaping experiments. متن کاملEnhancement of Robust Tracking Performance via Switching Supervisory Adaptive Control
When the process is highly uncertain, even linear minimum phase systems must sacrifice desirable feedback control benefits to avoid an excessive ‘cost of feedback’, while preserving the robust stability. In this paper, the problem of supervisory based switching Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT) control is proposed for the control of highly uncertain plants. According to this strategy, the unce...

In this study, an observer-based tracking controller is proposed and evaluatedexperimentally to solve the trajectory tracking problem of robotic manipulators with the torque saturationin the presence of model uncertainties and external disturbances. In comparison with the state-of-the-artobserver-based controllers in the literature, this paper introduces a saturated observer-based controllerbas...
متن کاملReal-Time Output Feedback Neurolinearization
An adaptive input-output linearization method for general nonlinear systems is developed without using states of the system. Another key feature of this structure is the fact that, it does not need model of the system. In this scheme, neurolinearizer has few weights, so it is practical in adaptive situations. Online training of neuroline...
